As an important part of our sustainability concept we offer the option to book sustainable aviation fuel on our charter flights.
- SAF available at Atlas Air Service on every flight to any destination through book-and-claim
- Made from renewable waste materials, such as used cooking oil
- SAF is approved as JET-A1
- certificate your individual reduction of the CO² emissions
- Available through book-and-claim:
■ SAF can be booked as an upgrade for individual flights
■ The equivalent amount of SAF is not necessarily used at the specific flight but at any flight operated by Atlas
(due to availability, price, operational reasons)
■ The reduction of emissions can be claimed using the certificate - SAF book-and-claim offers real, immediate and significant reductions of CO². Carbon offset programs are less transparent and less reliable.
